About 1Retro
One-liner
1Retro is a cloud save platform for retro gaming that backs up, syncs, and versions your game saves across every device and emulator you play on.
Boilerplate (~100 words)
1Retro is a cloud save platform for retro gaming. It backs up, syncs, and versions your game saves across every device you play on: desktop emulators, MiSTer FPGA, OnionOS and Miyoo handhelds, the command line, and more. A save you make on one device is waiting for you on the next, and every version is preserved, so a corrupted SD card or a reinstalled emulator never costs you progress again. 1Retro supports 43+ platforms from the NES to the PSP, runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux, and is free to start, with paid starting from $2 a month.

Founder
1Retro is built by Hans Larsen, a software developer and lifelong retro gamer who started the project after losing one save too many to a dead SD card. He builds the save parsers, the sync engine, and the apps that run on everything from a laptop to a MiSTer FPGA.
